Welcome to the Freedom Ride
The Freedom Ride is a community based family oriented bike ride to raise important funds for Pathways Tasmania. The ride will be held on Saturday, 27 March 2021. There is something for everyone with three courses plus a family event for non-riders to enjoy.
Information on the Ride
We will start all courses at The Esplanade in New Norfolk, and there are three courses to choose from:
- 100km Hardcore Ride, the
- 42.2km Marathon Ride, and the
- 20km Recreational Ride.
In the event of unsafe weather conditions the ride may need to be cancelled. In the event of cancellation, participants will be notified by a text message to the phone number provided at registration. Our Facebook page will also publish regular updates so we recommend following us there to stay connected.
We have prepared a comprehensive COVID Safe plan that complies with the set of standards to keep customers, workers at Freedom Ride and Family Fun Day safe. In the lead up to the event, we will be cross checking our plan with updates from the Tasmanian Government to ensure we our plan is current. Signage will be in place to reminded everyone to practice social distancing and good hygiene. Remember, we are all in this together!
